About This Print

A bamboo grove, flowing in the wind. Etchings in the sky above may show rain, with Mt. Fuji in the distance. Perfect condition. The print is currently framed with archival matting and museum-quality glass.

From The Collector

Purhcased the same day as the fateful purchase that began my shin-hanga journey. What drew me in was the details of the bamboo, and the green against the black. It also appears that this could be during a storm, with the etchings in the clouds giving the appearance of rain, and the bamboo bending giving the appearance of wind. Mt. Fuji in the background also gives a nice break in the darkness of the rest of the piece.

This piece hangs to the right of my desk in the office.
