A snow scene at Itsukushima Shrine in Miyajima, Hiroshima. Very good quality. The print is currently framed with archival matting and museum-quality glass.
From The Collector
At the time I acquired this print, I was just starting to dig into the catalog of Hasui. I was still scouring auction sites and galleries every day for his work.
When we visited Japan in October 2024, we made a stop at Itsukushima Shrine while visiting Hiroshima, and I recreated the print as closely as I could (although things have changed in a hundred years). You can see it in the image gallery above.
